Nature-Inspired Boho Nursery Design Board

Hi friends! Today I'm excited to share design plans for my friends' nursery. They recently asked me if I would design their baby's nursery for them, and of course I said yes! There's something so sweet and hopeful about nurseries...just thinking about creating one of babe's first spaces in this world gets me emotional.

This request came at a perfect time, as I'd just recently finished the dressing room makeover and was officially on a "home I own" project hiatus. Not only that, but my friend told me she's going for a nature-inspired boho-styled nursery, which is right up my alley! You all know I love boho design and bringing the outdoors in, so I know we are going to create something amazing in this nursery.

Here is the design board I've come up with for the room:

We're going to install a beautiful blue-green mountain wallpaper mural, which will be the primary focal point of the room. For the wall color, I'm playing around with a few different colors in the blue-green, sage green families like Sherwin Williams Clary Sage, Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue and Sherwin Williams Contented. Our accent colors will be blush and dove gray.

My goal is for the room to feel serene and soft and inspiring. I'm super excited to see this vision come to life and I hope mama and baby love it!

The next big things to tackle are painting and wallpaper installation; stay tuned as I'll certainly keep you updated on the room's progress!
